Community Guidelines
To keep Meetup Art a positive and creative space, we ask all users to:
- Be respectful and supportive of other artists
- Share only original content or properly credited work
- Use appropriate language and avoid spam
- Report inappropriate content or behavior
- Follow event-specific rules and guidelines
- Use suitable, non-explicit images to promote events and courses
Violations of our community guidelines may result in content removal or account suspension. We appreciate your help in maintaining a welcoming environment for all artists.
Event and course images
Images used to promote or advertise Meetup Art courses and events must not contain full-frontal nudity, sexually explicit material, pornography, or sexualised imagery. Organisers must use suitable, non-explicit promotional images. Event and course images are checked automatically when they are uploaded, and an image that does not meet this standard cannot be used — you will be asked to choose a different one.
This applies specifically to the promotional imagery attached to a course or event, because those images appear in public search results, on our homepage and in link previews. It does not prohibit artistic nudity elsewhere on Meetup Art: life models' own profiles and portfolios, artists' portfolios and reference material may include it where the relevant platform rules permit.
Images containing nudity
Images that contain visible nudity are hidden by default for everyone, including visitors who are not logged in. Use Site options in the top navigation to turn on "Show images with nudity". Concealed nudes — figures that are unclothed but whose private anatomy is not visible — are not treated as nudity for this setting. The choice is stored in a cookie while you are logged out, and against your account once you sign in.
