Maya is a multidisciplinary artist creating moving and still images, stories, and installations. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in product design, she works as an illustrator, animator, and designer. Her drawing & text installation whispering; featured in Simbart Projects, İstanbul. Her most recent solo exhibition, The room doesn’t sleep, it hums back., took place in London in 2025. Her previous solo show, Floating on Land, was held in Deptford, London. In 2024, Here, a moment ago, a duo exhibition, was held in 2024 at the Istanbul Design Museum. She participated in the From the Field project and exhibition, which was supported under the British Council’s Inclusivity through Art & Design grant. Maya’s animated short film has received awards at festivals such as the World of Film International Festival Glasgow and was featured in selections including Raindance and Venezia Shorts.
